HES is seeking a Licensed Journeyman HVAC Technician to support maintenance across educational facilities. The role emphasizes chiller operation, boiler management, and preventive maintenance of HVAC systems.

The candidate should demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, familiarity with CMMS and BAS, and the ability to perform on-call duties when required. A valid HVAC license and clean driving record are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• HVAC training or apprenticeship highlighted (2-year level).
• Journeyman HVAC license required or equivalent credential.
• 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate and repair heating and ventilating equipment and controls.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on HVAC systems.
• Respond to alarms and troubleshoot facility equipment issues.
• Complete work orders and document service actions in CMMS.
