The College of Southern Maryland (CSM) invites applications for an HVAC Maintenance Specialist. Located about 45 minutes from the Nation’s Capital, CSM is a history-rich community college recognized for excellence in workforce and technical programs.

Under general supervision, the position performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and operation of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, refrigeration, and related building systems across campus facilities.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of HVAC, mechanical, and building maintenance experience.
• Completion of an HVAC trade program or equivalent.
• EPA Section 608 certification.
• Valid driver's license required to operate college vehicles.

Mansioni

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and building systems.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, and control components.
• Coordinate with BAS and building automation systems.
• Respond to emergencies and prioritize safety.
• Assist with contractor coordination and project support.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
