Job summary

Sinclair Community College is seeking an HVAC Technician II to help maintain a state‑of‑the‑art campus. The role focuses on HVAC repair and modifications to Sinclair mechanical systems, with preventive maintenance and inspections across all campus HVAC equipment.

Qualified candidates will have at least 4 years in facilities HVAC maintenance, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferably a CFC Universal Certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 4 years of facilities HVAC maintenance experience.
• CFC Universal Certification preferred; certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Experience with refrigeration systems, troubleshooting and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repairs for all site HVAC systems, including air handlers, boilers, chilled water, and AC units.
• Support and perform preventive maintenance and inspections of HVAC equipment.
• Assist with electrical systems related to HVAC and DDC controls.
