Job summary

The ideal candidate should have Commercial HVAC training, a Journeyman HVAC license, and familiarity with Siemens Desigo and Encelium certifications. Strong problem-solving and independent work skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted valid driver's license with clean record.
• Commercial HVAC training and mechanical systems experience.
• Experience with building management and DDC/Pneumatic controls.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and make sound decisions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Supervise contracted HVAC work.
• Maintain, repair and install HVAC systems per codes.
• Provide economical and safe HVAC service to campus.
• Complete work orders with supervisor-approved priorities.
• Independently handle emergency work on weekends/holidays.
• Lead technicians and coordinate with other trades during emergencies.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment.
• Support emergency operations and campus HVAC contractors.
