Job summary

Qualifications

• A High School diploma and 3-5 years of applicable experience in an office and customer service experience.
• Successful experience delivering customer service online and in person.
• Flexible schedule including on-site major University housing events; after-hours availability.
• Excellent multi-tasking; must be able to organize and complete many tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy specifically in handling confidential data.
• Demonstrated capacity for professionalism in a public-facing role.
• Tact and diplomacy when dealing with difficult situations.
• Ability to balance project leadership and service support roles.

Responsibilities

• Issues electronic contracts for housing for academic year, summer programs, and populations served.
• Assists with housing applications and room selection for undergraduate and graduate students.
• Process billing for contracts, fire safety inspection violations, damages during occupancy, and security deposit deductions; assist with appeals.
• Prepares housing system requirements for undergraduate and graduate housing programs.
• Coordinate with third-party operator to provide seamless resident services across move in, billing, transfer, and move out.
• Plan and support Summer Housing Turnover Process across inventories; coordinate turnover schedule and align dates.
• Serve as contact for keyless locks system issues and liaise with Public Safety on customer service issues.
• Work with Communications, Engagement, Service Point on housing documents.
• Provide online and in-person customer service; use ServiceNow workflow; support outage notifications and data analytics.
