Wyoming Seminary Upper School seeks a dependable groundskeeper to join the maintenance team at the Kingston, PA campus. The position runs 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, providing care of campus grounds to uphold safety, cleanliness, and visual appeal.

The role requires experience with landscaping and snow removal equipment, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to follow directions and work independently. Background checks and school clearances are required.

Qualifications

• Previous institutional or commercial landscaping experience.
• Knowledge and experience with grass cutting and snow removal equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Must be reliable and able to work independently.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass background and all clearances required to work in a school.

Responsabilités

• Turf Management: Mowing, edging, and maintaining campus lawns.
• Seasonal Cleanup: Raking leaves, clearing debris, and snow/ice removal.
• Flora Care: Planting, watering, pruning trees, shrubs, hedges, and flower beds.
• Equipment Operation: Safely using mowers, leaf blowers, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, and school vehicles.
• Logistics/Event Setup: Prepare campus areas for events as needed.
• Preventative Maintenance: Maintain vehicles and equipment.
• Emergency Response: Respond to campus emergencies.
• Environment Maintenance: Uphold cleanliness and safety across campus facilities.
• Communications: Interact professionally with staff, students, and guests.
• Other Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned
