Job summary

Wyoming Seminary Lower School in Forty Fort, PA seeks a dependable housekeeping assistant for a 12-month role, hours 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and focuses on maintaining high cleanliness standards across classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.

Qualifications

• Previous institutional or commercial cleaning experience.
• Knowledge and experience with floor care.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Must be reliable and able to work independently.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain classrooms, offices, restrooms, common areas, and other school facilities
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned areas
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Ability to interact professionally and effectively with staff, students and vendors.
• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned
