American Campus Communities is seeking a Groundskeeper for 21Hundred at Overton Park in Lubbock, TX. You will maintain both interior and exterior areas, ensuring curb appeal and property upkeep. The role offers training and room for growth within a student housing community.

The ideal candidate is reliable and detail-oriented, with willingness to learn general labor and maintenance tasks. Prior facilities maintenance experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• The ability to perform general labor, housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
• Experience in facilities maintenance is helpful but not required; training provided.
• Able to follow multi-step instructions and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior and exterior areas to property standards.
• Groundskeeping including trash collection.
• Vacuuming, mopping and/or shampooing floors in resident rooms and common areas.
• Assist service team with work orders, moving furniture and supplies.
• Support apartment make-ready duties, including trash outs and painting.
• Assist in property turnover process.
• Support with pool maintenance and pressure washing where applicable.
• Operate equipment safely according to protocols.
• Maintain shops, storage areas, and organize tools.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
