Job summary

American Campus Communities is seeking a Service Technician for U Club Townhomes at Overton Park in Lubbock, TX. You will perform maintenance tasks, manage work orders, and support preventative maintenance to keep common areas and resident units in excellent condition.

You will inspect areas for safety and cleanliness, operate and repair equipment, and coordinate with vendors on-site. A detail-oriented, safety-conscious professional with residential maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential facilities maintenance.
• Ability to complete work orders and support preventative maintenance.
• Comfortable following safety protocols and processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform work orders promptly with quality and efficiency.
• Close out work orders in the system and track progress.
• Assist in property turn processes and coordinate with vendors.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Inspect public areas and resident apartments for safety and standards.
• Operate, maintain, and repair facility equipment safely.
• Escort vendors on-site and facilitate their work.
• Keep shop and storage areas clean and organized.
• Coordinate with vendor services like snow removal and landscaping.
• Assist with curb appeal, trash collection, and cleaning.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
