American Campus Communities operates Cullen Oaks in Houston, TX and is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain interior and exterior spaces, including common areas and amenities, to preserve curb appeal.

You will perform trash collection, floor care, and shop upkeep, assist with work orders, make-ready tasks, turnover, and occasional pool maintenance, while following safety protocols and maintaining a well-presented environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform general labor and property maintenance tasks.
• Ability to drive a golf cart and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Ability to understand and execute multi-step instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean the interior and exterior of the property to standard.
• Property groundskeeping and trash collection.
• Floor care in resident rooms and common areas; stocking bathrooms.
• Assist service team with work orders, moving furniture, and supplies.
• Support make-ready duties, including trash outs, cleaning, and painting.
• Assist in property turnover process.
• Support pool maintenance (if applicable) and pressure washing.
• Operate all facility equipment safely per protocols.
• Keep shops, storage, and back-of-house areas tidy and organized.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
