Job summary

American Campus Communities is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain buildings and grounds at an ACC student housing community, including common areas and amenities to boost curb appeal.

The role involves cleaning interior/exterior, assisting with make-ready duties, pool maintenance if applicable, and following safety protocols. Training is provided to support success and opportunities for certifications and career growth.

Qualifications

• Reliable and detail-oriented
• Willing to learn general labor and property maintenance
• Ability to follow multi-step instructions and work safely

Responsibilities

• Clean interior and exterior of the property to standard.
• Perform property groundskeeping including trash collection.
• Vacuum, mop, or shampoo floors in resident rooms and common areas; stock bathrooms.
• Assist service team with work orders, moving furniture, and supplies storage.
• Support make-ready duties including trash outs, cleaning, and painting.
• Assist in property turnover process and pool maintenance if applicable.
• Operate facility equipment safely according to protocols and best practices.
• Maintain clean and orderly shops and storage areas.
