Job summary

American Campus Communities is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the property's interior and exterior, including common areas and amenities, to uphold curb appeal across our ACC student housing community.

Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn general labor and property maintenance; training is provided to support success in the role. We value inclusion and encourage teamwork and positive engagement across our communities.

Qualifications

• Experience in general labor and property (apartment) maintenance
• Ability to follow multi-step instructions and work safely
• Willingness to learn facilities maintenance; training provided
• Knowledge of safety rules and MSDS handling procedures

Responsibilities

• Clean interior and exterior of the property to standard.
• Maintain property grounds, including trash collection.
• Vacuum, mop and shampoo floors in resident rooms and common areas; stock bathrooms.
• Assist service team with work orders, furniture moving, and supplies storage.
• Support make-ready duties including trash outs, cleaning and painting.
• Assist in property turnover processes.
• Support pool maintenance and pressure washing as applicable.
• Safely operate facility equipment per safety protocols.
