Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in facilities operations, grounds maintenance, or general repair work.
• Must provide proof of a valid Mass. driver's license and a current DOT medical form annually.
• Ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs grounds maintenance tasks, including planting trees and shrubs, mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and collecting leaves.
• Clears snow and ice from parking lots, walkways, and other areas.
• Assists with setup, breakdown, and cleanup for events and functions.
• General laborer work includes moving and arranging furniture, equipment, and supplies safely.
• Completes minor repairs and maintenance projects as assigned or in response to work orders.
• Troubleshoots and performs minor repairs on equipment to keep it operating.
• Picks up trash and disposes of waste daily.
• Performs miscellaneous tasks to support departmental operations.
• Participates in the on‑call rotation for urgent needs.
