Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services at University of North Carolina Asheville is hiring full-time and part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions. You will prepare, present and serve food, perform prep work, and help with stocking and service.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• weighs and measures ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator.
• Stores food with proper dating, rotation and safety procedures.
• cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards for quality and portions.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays to supervisor.
• Follows cash control procedures and service standards.
• Ensures sanitation and safety compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
