Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services in Charlotte, NC is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions. Operate the POS, assist the Chef, prepare coffee/snacks, and maintain clean cashier and coffee stations. Prior food service experience is required. Schedules include days, nights and weekends; online applications are accepted.

Responsibilities

• Operates Point of Sale system and assists the Chef.
• Prepares foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods and desserts and catering orders.
• Performs cashier duties with accuracy and handles receipts.
• Performs general cleaning duties and maintains clean stations.
• Provides service in all retail areas including cashiering and line serving.
• Keeps inventory stocked and rotates stock using FIFO.
