Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is hiring a full-time Food Service Worker for a campus operation near Babson University. You will prepare, present and serve food, ensuring safety, portion control and friendly service. Schedule may vary and PM shifts apply.

Role includes prep, weighing ingredients, stocking stations, sanitation, and assisting with inventory and cash controls. Prior food service experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Willingness to work varied shifts on campus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work: wash, peel, cut fruits/vegetables.
• Weighs and measures ingredients and aids in production.
• Carries pans and trays; maintains safe, clean work areas.
• Stores food with proper dating and rotation; follows recipes.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolves concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Complies with service standards, inventory and cash controls.
• Assists with basic duties as assigned.
