Job summary

The Central Georgia Technical College is looking for a part-time Food Service Employee to assist in the Macon and Warner Robins cafés. You will prepare and serve a variety of items to students, staff, and visitors while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Shifts are rotating with up to 29 hours per week and may include day, evening, or weekend hours. Travel within the college service area may be required for campus events or the Childcare Center support. Compensation is $15.50/hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: None required
• Preferred: transcripts of conferred degrees and/or six months of related experience
• SafeServ certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food to students, staff, and visitors
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Monitor food temperatures and maintain cleanliness
• Assist with banquets, events, and special diets as needed
• Operate and maintain food service equipment
