Job summary

University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is seeking a Production Associate at the Upper DeBot Dining Center. The role supports kitchen staff in food preparation and service, with weekend shifts required and compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Learning to operate kitchen equipment, stock service areas, and assist with special functions, you will contribute to uninterrupted dining service while gaining valuable work experience in a university dining program.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a minimum of 8 hours per week.
• Basic knowledge of how to use kitchen utensils and equipment; learn and perform food prep, service, and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Use a variety of kitchen equipment and utensils to prepare main dishes, soups, pasta, meats, fruits and vegetables, sandwiches, desserts, and baked goods according to patron demand.
• Set up service area and stock with appropriate amount of food.
• Assist with food production for special functions.
• Maintain storeroom and equipment in a sanitary, orderly manner and in compliance with local, state, and federal rules.
