Responsibilities

• Supervise, organize, and administer fiscal services for a college campus.
• Oversee the preparation of a variety of financial and statistical reports and statements; maintain records related to income, expenditures, budgets, programs, and grants.
• Review, audit, and analyze financial statements, records, and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with guidelines and GAAP.
• Supervise subordinate staff engaged in monitoring college grant program budgets and expenditures; audit and prepare categorically funded program budgets for input into Banner.
• Organize, coordinate, and oversee timely and accurate preparation and submittal of monthly, quarterly, annual, and other periodic reports.
• Serve as a technical resource to campus personnel regarding assigned accounting functions; respond to inquiries and provide technical information on transactions, budgets, rules, and funding source requirements.
• Analyze and review accounting processes; implement changes to improve efficiency.
• Audit, assemble, and monitor the college budget and year-end projections; advise executive management on budgetary issues.
• Select, train, and evaluate personnel; hire and supervise student workers; conduct performance evaluations.
• Monitor a campus position control system to track permanent employees and vacancies.
• Work with diverse communities and demonstrate equity-mindedness.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
