Job summary

Texas Democratic Party seeks Campus Fellows in Lubbock to mobilize campus and youth voters for the Texas Together 2026 Coordinated Campaign. Fellows will build and lead campus volunteer and voter contact infrastructure, gaining hands-on experience with organizing practices used on competitive federal campaigns.

Position runs Sept 8 to Nov 6, 2026, at 15 hours per week, with pay at $20 per hour. Join a unionized staff and contribute to turning Texas blue through campus engagement.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at a Texas college or university for Fall 2027.
• Commitment to Texas Democrats' mission and values.
• Access to a phone and laptop.
• Comfortable working with students in-person.

Responsibilities

• Organize voter contact events weekly on campus.
• Build volunteer networks and recruit new volunteers.
• Represent the campaign on campus to supporters and voters.
• Maintain data integrity and timely entry of voter contact data.
• Develop creative on- and off-line organizing tactics.
• Provide regular reporting on voter contact, especially GOTV.
• Learn and grow into a stronger organizer.
