Job summary

Texas Democratic Party is seeking Campus Fellows for the Texas Together 2026 Coordinated Campaign. Fellows will lead campus volunteer and voter contact infrastructure, mobilize youth voters, and gain hands-on experience with campaign systems.

The role runs Sept 8 through Nov 6, 2026, at 15 hours per week, with potential longer days near Election Day. Compensation is $20 per hour, unionized with IBEW Local 220, and requires enrollment at a Texas college or university for Fall 2027.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at a Texas college or university for the Fall 2027 semester.
• Commitment to the Texas Democrats mission and values.
• Strong time management and self-motivation.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication.
• Access to a phone and laptop.

Responsibilities

• Organize weekly on-campus voter contact events with manager support.
• Build capacity by partnering with campus organizations and recruiting volunteers.
• Represent the campaign on campus and maintain a strong presence.
• Maintain data integrity with timely voter contact data entry.
• Develop creative on-campus voter contact strategies (digital and in-person).
• Provide regular reporting on voter contact, especially GOTV.
