Job summary

The Texas Democratic Party is seeking Campus Fellows to join our Texas Together 2026 Coordinated Campaign, helping mobilize campus and youth voters across Texas. Fellows will build and lead volunteer and voter contact infrastructure on their campuses, translating high energy into high turnout.

Position begins September 8 and ends November 6, 2026. Fellows work 15 hours weekly, with compensation at $20 per hour, and are part of a unionized staff environment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at a Texas college or university for Fall 2027.
• Commitment to the Texas Democrats mission and our organizational values, goals, and objectives.
• Task and time management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Organize voter contact events on campus with manager support to educate and turnout voters.
• Capacity building: recruit volunteers across campus to hit voter contact goals.
• Represent the campaign on campus as a primary voice to supporters, volunteers, and voters.
• Maintain data integrity with timely data entry across events.
• Explore creative ways to contact voters on campus via digital and in-person tactics.
• Provide regular reporting on voter contact, with GOTV-focused updates.
• Learn and grow into a stronger organizer through the role.
