Job summary

Alpha is hiring for a Director Of Member Relations to lead campus-family relationships, guide conversations, and sustain trust across communities. You will welcome families, align with guides on sensitive situations, and host events that deepen engagement.

You will defend Alpha's model and ensure alignment with educational standards while expanding retention and referrals. Role requires on-site work in Lake Forest or Los Angeles/Malibu, CA, with five-plus years of relationship ownership,

Qualifications

• 5+ years owning high-trust relationships with families, clients, donors, or community stakeholders.
• Proven ability to handle difficult stakeholder decisions while preserving trust.
• Clear, concise communication with affluent or sophisticated families.
• Independent ownership of a relationship or program from diagnosis through follow-through.
• Willingness to work on-site full-time with varied hours.

Responsibilities

• Own ongoing relationships with campus families through daily presence and follow-through.
• Lead difficult parent conversations, uphold firm decisions, and resolve concerns.
• Partner with guides on sensitive family and student situations and escalate high-risk issues.
• Build parent networks, campus traditions, local partnerships, and events to strengthen retention.
• Adapt ownership to campus phase from enrollment follow-through to retention and community depth.
