Job summary

Galen College of Nursing is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform routine maintenance of campus facilities and equipment, assist with security, and coordinate work with outside vendors. You will replace light bulbs, repair walls and doors, and maintain a safe campus environment for students and staff.

Responsibilities include responding to maintenance requests, coordinating major repairs, and ensuring security of keys and access.

Qualifications

• Communicate orally with coworkers, customers, clients, or the public in a face-to-face, one-to-one setting or using a telephone.
• Physical/Mental Demands & Work Environment: Stand for long periods and lift 25-50 pounds.
• Degree of Supervision: Minimal

• Responds to emergency maintenance requests.
• Coordinates and supervises major repairs performed by outside vendors.
• Maintains building keys security and monitors access as needed.
