The incumbent will read plans, perform remodeling tasks, document work, and maintain daily records while upholding high standards of safety and customer service within a diverse campus community.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in safely operating power tools and hand tools.
• Basic knowledge in replacing VCT/Carpet flooring, drop ceiling tiles, and vinyl base trim.
• Basic knowledge of demolition equipment and required PPE.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills (Need to communicate with customers and supervisors.)

Responsibilities

• Assists trades, crafts, vendors, and technical staff with construction and maintenance as needed.
• Utilizes equipment to repair and maintain standard machinery and facility property.
• Performs routine facility inspections and monitors cleanliness.
• Troubleshoots, escalates, and documents issues according to policies.
• Receives, inspects, inventories, and distributes deliveries under general supervision.
