Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of hands-on maintenance or facilities experience required.
• Working knowledge of basic building maintenance practices.
• Ability to follow work orders, written instructions, and verbal direction.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks across campus facilities with limited supervision, including light plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general building upkeep.
• Complete common maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, installing dispensers, changing locks, and minor repairs.
• Assist skilled trades personnel with larger projects as assigned.
• Conduct basic inspections of facilities and equipment and report maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Follow all university safety policies and procedures and participate in safety trainings.
