Saint Louis University is seeking a facilities maintenance technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance on campus HVAC systems, addressing requests from faculty, staff, and students, and completing work orders from facilities supervisors.

The role includes inspections, troubleshooting, minor installations, and ensuring safe operation across multiple buildings; candidates should be able to perform light HVAC, plumbing, and electrical tasks, with flexibility for evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class E driver’s license (or equivalent from another state).
• Must be available 24/7 for emergencies and willing to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Handle service calls and emergency response with courteous, timely support.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on walls, floors, ceilings, doors, and lighting components.
• Provide light HVAC, plumbing, and electrical troubleshooting; report issues requiring skilled trades.
