Job summary

Merrimack College seeks a Project Manager in North Andover, MA to lead complex facilities projects, defining objectives, schedules, and budgets to deliver on time and within scope.

Reporting to the Facilities Director, the role coordinates with architects, engineers, and campus partners, monitors progress, manages costs, and maintains comprehensive project records.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in PM or related field, 5+ years experience, PMP preferred, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Project Management or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Experience in Higher Education, or multi-building property management preferred.
• 10 years of experience in Project Management is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Define project objectives, manage schedules and budgets to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with Facilities Director, college leadership, architects, engineers and consultants.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to plans, specs and budgets.
• Track milestones, deliverables and deadlines; resolve delays and conflicts.
• Maintain project documentation including budgets, change orders, and reports.
• Coordinate with college departments to minimize disruption to academic programs and campus operations.
• Lead meetings with stakeholders and document decisions and follow-up actions.
