Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical certification related to construction or project management, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years in planning and administering construction projects.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse and at times opposing constituencies.
• Familiarity with design and construction processes.
• Ability to work with computerized systems.
• Familiarity with various forms of construction documents.
• Familiarity with Town, State, and Federal codes and ordinances.
• Familiarity with construction safety and construction site safety and awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manages the full execution process for small-scale facilities projects (e.g., classroom renovations, flooring replacement, furniture requests, interior painting).
• Coordinates meetings with customers, stakeholders, FO&M staff, and contractors to schedule work within planned budget and schedule.
• Keeps stakeholders informed of project status and resolves issues affecting program, budget, scope, and timeline.
