Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in facilities or site management, preferably in higher education or corporate environments.
• Experience supervising staff and managing vendor relationships.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a hybrid work environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with facilities management software.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary on-site contact for campus operations, ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment.
• Monitor and manage services provided by the property management company, including janitorial, landscaping, snow removal, and building maintenance.
• Respond to urgent site issues and coordinate emergency repairs with external vendors and management.
• Oversee main reception function for the institution, including visitor and staff badge distribution and main phone reception services.
• Oversee mailroom operations for the institution.
• Serve as a point of contact and subject matter expert for other Excelsior University sites who do not have full-time site managers.
