Apploi is seeking a Director of Environmental Services in the Albany, NY area to lead the EVS and Maintenance team, ensuring a clean, safe, and fully operational facility. Qualificações

• Previous supervisory or management experience in Environmental Services, Housekeeping, Maintenance, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire/sprinkler systems, with hands-on troubleshooting and basic repair experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial cleaning methods, OSHA regulations, infection control, and safety practices, including lockout/tagout.
• Experience with hard floor care, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and maintaining floors.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail. Experience in a healthcare, rehabilitation, hospital, or long-term care setting is strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services and Maintenance Department to keep the facility clean, safe, and fully operational.
• Establish and maintain cleaning and maintenance procedures that meet company policies, OSHA guidelines, and industry standards.
• Create staff schedules and assign daily work, including preventive maintenance tasks and work orders, to ensure all areas of the facility are properly maintained.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate EVS and maintenance team members to promote high performance and accountability.
• Perform routine inspections of the facility and its HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire/sprinkler systems to ensure quality and safety standards are consistently met.
• Troubleshoot and complete repairs on building systems within scope, and coordinate outside contractors for specialized or licensed work.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels for cleaning supplies, maintenance parts, and equipment, placing orders as needed.
• Work closely with department leaders to support facility operations, and keep current with best practices and regulatory requirements for environmental services, maintenance, and life safety.
