Job summary

Glenmont Job Corps Center is seeking a Safety & Security Manager to lead the Center’s Safety & Security Department, oversee daily operations, investigations, and OSHA compliance. You will supervise staff, coordinate training, and ensure a safe campus for students and staff.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least three years in safety or security leadership, OSHA certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in military, law enforcement, and/or safety management.
• OSHA Certification required.
• Valid in-state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Safety & Security Team with daily direction and staffing.
• Oversee center-wide safety inspections, access control, and visitor procedures.
• Investigate incidents, document findings, and determine corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain safety documentation and annual safety plans.
• Coordinate training and professional development for Safety & Security staff and collaborate with Center departments.
