Job summary

Londonderry Village in Palmyra, PA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to assist the Maintenance Director in overseeing the Maintenance and Grounds Departments. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on campus buildings and systems, and lead staff across multiple trades.

Responsibilities include prioritizing work orders, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while maintaining comfort for residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of maintenance experience.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• General knowledge of carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing repairs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance staff to perform preventative and corrective work on building systems.
• Prioritize tasks using safety and comfort factors; manage daily work orders.
• Coordinate with contractors for maintenance projects.
• Monitor supplies, order items, and ensure proper storage.
• Perform maintenance on cooling, heating, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and communications.
• Complete projects including procurement of supplies and equipment.
• Inspect facilities per checklist and conduct repairs as needed.
• Respond to work orders and resident calls; prioritize safety.
• Assist with carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical tasks.
• Participate in snow removal and campus transportation as required.
• Adhere to safety standards and Londonderry Village policies.
• Report safety concerns to Maintenance Director promptly.
• Help train Maintenance staff; participate in on-call and weekend shifts.
