Job summary

Upstate Niagara Cooperative, Inc. seeks a Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor to oversee maintenance, safety, and appearance of the Lancaster office and grounds.

You’ll supervise facilities staff, coordinate preventative maintenance, and manage vendor services to ensure a clean, safe, and professional work environment. The role requires hands-on maintenance, strong knowledge of building systems, and the ability to plan and monitor budgets while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of building maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating contractors and monitoring EMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, doors, locks, lighting, and HVAC coordination.
• Maintain the corporate office, parking lots, sidewalks, landscaping, and outdoor areas.
• Coordinate seasonal groundskeeping including snow removal and lawn care.
• Oversee maintenance records, coordinate contractors and vendors for repairs and facility projects.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and building emergencies.
• Monitor facility systems and propose capital improvements and repairs.
• Ensure OSHA, safety, environmental, and building regulation compliance.
