Job summary

Aramark is seeking a General Manager, Facilities Management to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of facilities services across a higher education campus in St. Louis.

You will lead building maintenance, custodial, grounds, utilities, and sustainability initiatives to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-efficient operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of progressive facilities management experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing large teams and complex operations.
• Experience managing budgets, financial reporting, and operational performance.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance, custodial, grounds, and building systems operations.
• Excellent communication, client relationship, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and facility management software systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct all day-to-day facilities operations across assigned campus buildings and properties.
• Ensure facilities services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual commitments and standards.
• Develop and implement operational plans that support campus priorities and long-term facility objectives.
• Monitor performance metrics, service levels, and productivity to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental policies.
• Serve as the primary liaison with university administration and campus stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with academic departments, student affairs, housing, athletics, and other campus partners.
• Address client concerns proactively and develop solutions that enhance service delivery.
• Participate in campus committees, planning meetings, and strategic initiatives as appropriate.
