Job summary

Aramark seeks a Custodial General Manager to lead custodial and facility support operations in a large manufacturing environment. You will manage a team, oversee budgets, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and drive service excellence to meet client objectives.

This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to build client relationships while implementing continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree level education in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management.
• Ability to focus on client and customer services, entrepreneurship and building and growing a strong business.
• Savvy interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and Aramark support staff.
• Comfortable reading, understanding, and implementing contractual requirements, including identifying opportunities within contract terms and conditions to address operational issues.
• Meaningful experience in service industry, contract services, or hospitality environment.
• Proven ability leading through other managers.
• Experience in creating and managing a department budget, financial controls and analysis.
• Experience crafting product sales strategies and implementing operational programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for all custodial and facility support operations within a manufacturing facility.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring service expectations and performance goals are achieved.
• Lead, coach, and develop managers, supervisors, and frontline employees to promote a high-performing team culture. Manage budgets, labor, productivity, and operational costs to achieve financial targets.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management activities.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery, efficiency, and quality.
• Partner with manufacturing leadership to support production objectives and operational needs.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop action plans to address opportunities for improvement.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracted services as needed.
• Drive a culture of accountability, safety, and customer service excellence throughout the operation.
