Qualifications

• Compliance with rules and regulations; inspect, install, repair systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to follow directions and work with the public
• Heavy lifting and physical activity; able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently

Responsibilities

• Supervise FM staff, prioritizing, assigning and scheduling work
• Oversee day-to-day operations in assigned areas
• Prepare and review information, logs, invoices and operational records and reports
• Maintain inventory and assist in removal of trash, recycling, food waste, and debris on campus
• Operate equipment safely and in accordance with licensing requirements
• Perform routine maintenance checks and minor maintenance on equipment
• Plow snow and spread loam or gravel for maintenance and construction needs
• Perform other duties of a similar nature and level
• Transport materials between locations
• Move materials and equipment for larger projects and operate heavy equipment
• Perform an assigned collection route with considerations for speed and efficiency
• Move and operate equipment required for tasks
