Job summary

SSC Services for Education, a Compass Group company, seeks an Executive Director of Facilities Management for a university campus in Lexington, KY. You will oversee regional FM operations, coordinate with managers, and drive client satisfaction, financial performance, and growth.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, staffing, contract compliance, and regional audits. Strong leadership and P&L experience are essential for success in this role at SSC/Compass Group USA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in Facilities Maintenance (Director level) in an acute care setting with high customer contact.
• Ability to handle P&L for multiple accounts.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations.
• Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develops a business plan and budget for the region in conjunction with the functional support team.
• Develops financial forecasts and balances programs and resources.
• Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of financial data and statistics.
• Responsible for productivity and staffing for all maintenance departments.
• Maintains and supports client satisfaction at a level that ensures account retention.
• Administers required client/customer surveys and responds in a timely and effective manner.
• Promotes client awareness of program alternatives and the availability of corporate resources.
• Monitors and ensures compliance with the provisions of client contracts.
• Assist in customizing programs to meet each account's unique needs as required.
• Conducts quarterly QBRs with client to ensure contract compliance is being met.
• Conducts Regional Audits semi-annually for regulatory and operational compliance.
• Develops the region's training plan for management employees and ensures implementation.
• Visits each account regularly to maintain positive relations with directors and client representatives.
