Job summary

SSC Services for Education seeks an Executive Director of Facilities Management for a hospital campus region. The role directs regional FM activities through managers to ensure client satisfaction, account retention, and financial goals.

You will lead workforce planning, budgeting, and strategic program delivery while partnering with regional leadership and HR. You will maintain strong relationships with clients and site leaders, supervise hospital maintenance operations, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in Facilities Maintenance in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of NFPA, TJC, CMS, DNV, EPA, OSHA codes & regulations.
• CHFM highly preferred.
• Ability to manage P&L for multiple accounts.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare building mechanical, structural, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Develops a region business plan and budget with the support team.
• Forecasts finances and aligns resources to programs.
• Ensures accurate, timely financial data and statistics.
• Oversees staffing for hospital maintenance departments.
• Maintains client satisfaction and account retention.
• Administers client surveys and responds promptly.
• Promotes awareness of program options and corporate resources.
• Monitors compliance with client contracts.
• Customizes programs to meet unique account needs.
• Conducts quarterly QBRs with client to verify contract compliance.
• Performs regional audits semi-annually for regulatory compliance.
• Develops training plans with Operations leadership and HR.
• Visits accounts regularly to maintain positive relationships.
