Job summary

SSC Services for Education in Moore, OK seeks a Facilities Director to oversee Skilled Trades, Maintenance, and Grounds, and to partner with educational leaders to align facilities strategy with institutional goals while driving operational excellence, safety, and regulatory compliance.

You will lead budgeting processes, manage vendor relationships, mentor staff, maintain assets, and ensure high service levels for students and staff in a complex campus environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Five+ years of management experience in maintenance/facilities management or related field.
• Budgeting and forecasting experience preferred.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Proven leadership in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage department operating budgets and financial constraints.
• Coordinate operations across maintenance, trades, and grounds.
• Engage with clients to ensure satisfaction and clear communication.
• Lead and coordinate departmental functions with accountability and excellence.
• Establish policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mentor staff and foster continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide staff training and development opportunities.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and improvement planning.
• Assist in annual budget development and revisions.
• Maintain direct communications with administration, clients, and vendors.
