Job summary

Campus Services Group (CSG) invites you to join as School Director of Facilities, overseeing campus operations, facilities, grounds, custodial services, and project management for a day school. You’ll lead a team, coordinate with contractors, and ensure a clean, safe, well-maintained learning environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field, 5+ years in facility/construction management (educational setting preferred), strong leadership, and hands-on budget and safety oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Management, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Facilities or Construction Management (preferred).
• 5+ years in facility/building/property management or construction management with supervisory experience.
• Experience in at least two technical trades (plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, electrical, roofing, HVAC, or building trades).
• Strong leadership and communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Oversee campus facilities, grounds, custodial services, and project management.
• Manage a team of staff, contractors, and vendors, ensuring performance, training, and development.
• Ensure clear communication on facilities, construction, and safety projects within the school community.
• Develop and manage the annual facilities budget, review invoices, and oversee preventive maintenance programs.
• Conduct inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to standards.
• Manage sustainability initiatives and collaborate with school departments on on-campus events.
• Oversee CMMS to ensure timely completion of work orders and maintenance tasks.
