The role emphasizes proactive leadership, safety, cost-effectiveness, and collaboration with university leadership to maintain a welcoming and efficient campus environment.

Qualifications

• Must have experience managing custodial and maintenance for a facility.
• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in budgeting, vendor relations, and supervising maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the maintenance of campus buildings, grounds and general services.
• Provides leadership to meet university goals and ensure safe, cost-effective operations.
• Recruit, trains and develops staff; conducts performance evaluations.
• Manages budgets and approves expenditures for assigned areas.
• Prepares RFPs and reviews vendors for approval.
• Coordinates with the Assistant VP for Business Operations to align objectives.
