Job summary

Qualifications

• Custodial experience preferred.
• Must be a neat, clean individual portraying a positive image to students, staff and community members.
• The ability to work as needed, including day, evening, and weekend hours substituting for absent coworkers.
• The ability to cooperate with students, college personnel, and the community.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and operating custodial equipment.
• Mental requirements include learning and applying basic instructions.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of buildings including dusting, windows, floors, walls, and furniture; restroom fixtures, toilets, sinks, etc.
• Maintain interior spaces from ceiling to floor; clean light fixtures, HVAC vents, and change filters as needed.
• Assist other employees as needed.
• Willingness to work days, evenings, and/or weekend hours as necessary.
• Arrive on time and perform responsibilities diligently.
• Comply with HutchCC policies and practices.
• Serve actively on campus committees.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director/Coordinators of Facilities.
