Job summary

Hutchinson Community College is seeking a custodian to perform daily cleaning, setup for events, and support for campus activities. You will ensure spaces are ready for classes, meetings, and events and assist with special cleaning projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Custodial experience preferred.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Willingness to work days, evenings, and/or weekend hours as necessary.
• Physical capacity to lift 10–50 pounds and perform routine custodial duties.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of buildings including dusting, windows, floors, walls, and restrooms.
• Facilitate evening/weekend classes and events by locking/unlocking buildings and setting up rooms.
• Perform special cleaning projects as assigned.
• Assist with events at Gowans Stadium and Hutchinson Sports Arena.
• Report any issues observed in buildings and ensure safety.
