Job summary

Salt Lake Community College (Westpointe Campus) is seeking a Campus Experience Specialist to support the Student Success Navigation Hub and the Faculty Support Center. This part-time, on-site role focuses on welcoming students and guiding them through admissions, registration, financial aid basics, and campus resources with inclusive service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year post–high school education and one year of customer service/office experience required.
• Experience in higher education or student support services preferred.
• Experience with Banner, Transact, Etrieve, or MySLCC preferred.
• Bilingual or multilingual (Spanish preferred) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, inclusive frontline service to students and visitors across in-person, phone, email, and virtual interactions.
• Assist students with admissions, registration, financial aid basics, student records, testing/placement, and general campus wayfinding.
• Triage and refer questions to appropriate campus resources.
• Support OneCard operations, including card issuance and cash handling.
• Monitor service usage and share observations to support improvement.
• Support lost-and-found procedures per campus protocols.
• Provide friendly frontline assistance to faculty in the Faculty Support Center.
• Assist with supplies, mail distribution, printing, and basic IT navigation for faculty.
