Community Church is seeking a Campus Experience Director to lead weekend experiences, develop volunteers, and build scalable systems that reflect our mission to love people as God loves us.

You will recruit and guide campus teams, partner across ministries, and create warm, safe environments where guests are welcomed and encouraged to take meaningful next steps in their faith journey.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant ministry experience.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and lead volunteer teams.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience leading teams through change and organizational growth.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and lead multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Campus Experience coordinators and volunteers.
• Build healthy leadership structures by recruiting and coaching teams.
• Use leadership playbooks to coach and identify future leaders.
• Align department with mission and vision.
• Model and reinforce values to strengthen culture.
• Attend Team Nights and oversee training.
• Join staff and 1:1 meetings for collaboration.
• Set SMART goals aligned with church goals.
• Conduct weekend evaluations to improve guest experience.
• Lead Campus Experience ministries like Parking, Hospitality, Hosts.
• Champion hospitality where guests feel seen.
• Oversee annual Campus Experience budget and spending.
• Measure outcomes and use feedback to improve weekends.
• Ensure procedures and emergency plans exist.
• Set standards for environments, supplies, signage.
• Ensure teams are staffed and trained before weekends.
• Partner with Programming for holistic weekends.
• Partner with Communications to align messaging.
• Partner with Operations to keep facilities excellent.
• Partner with NextGen for ministry alignment.
• Partner with Ministry Engagement to guide guests toward growth.
• Support church-wide initiatives and events.
