Fresh Ideas, a division of Compass Group, seeks a Campus Executive Chef at Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, KY. You will lead kitchen operations, ensure sanitary, safe practices, and align meals with corporate guidelines while delivering quality dining experiences.

The role requires hands-on culinary leadership, a focus on food safety, staff development, and strong collaboration with campus partners to enhance dining programs and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience.
• Hands-on chef experience a must.
• Institutional and batch cooking experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus according to guidelines.
• Trains kitchen staff in food preparation, safety and sanitation.
• Maintains cleaning schedules for equipment and areas.
• Manages inventory and ensures product availability.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participates in departmental meetings and program development.
