Job summary

Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking an experienced event captain at Southern Oregon University - Retail to ensure smooth food service for various events and supervise front and back of house activity.

You will lead event staff and kitchen teams, coordinate equipment transport, maintain inventory, and handle customer service needs while upholding service standards and safety, with opportunities to contribute to memorable campus events.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organization skills, attention to detail, and service knowledge.
• At least two years of experience as a service lead or supervisor in a hotel or catering environment.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team of event staff and kitchen staff to direct a successful service.
• Facilitating transportation of equipment and service, maintaining inventory, ensuring maintenance of catering equipment and storage areas, and room decoration.
• Handling customer service needs.
