Job summary

Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking an experienced Event Captain to supervise event staff and kitchen personnel, ensuring smooth service for campus events at Southern Oregon University - Retail. This full-time onsite position offers $20 per hour and opportunities to manage equipment transport, inventory, and room setup.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication, organizational skills, and at least two years in a supervisory role within hospitality or catering.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organization skills, attention to detail, and service knowledge.
• At least two years of experience as a service lead or supervisor in a hotel or catering environment.
• Food Handler’s certification (Nice-to-have)

Responsibilities

• Leading a team of event staff and kitchen staff to direct a successful service.
• Facilitating transportation of equipment and service, maintaining inventory, ensuring maintenance of catering equipment and storage areas, and room decoration.
