Job summary

CT State Community College seeks a Workforce Development and Continuing Education Coordinator to administer campus programs and courses, assess community needs, and oversee publicity, marketing, and program evaluation. This role reports to the Director of Workforce Development and Continuing Education and supports evenings and weekend activities.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and at least one year in related fields; strong communication skills and proficiency with MS Office

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriately related field with 1+ years in education administration, business, or training and development.
Ability to design training in adult/youth learning environments; experience in academic and office administration; marketing/publicity writing.

Responsibilities

Program planning and development.
Administrative services for workforce development and continuing education programs and courses; program evaluation.
Attendance and participation at convocation and commencement ceremonies; committee meetings may occur evenings/weekends.
